A man has been banned from the road for three years after driving drunk.

Amrik Sangha, 50, of Slough Road in Datchet, appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court on March 22.

This was in connection with an incident on October 14 last year.

Sangha was stopped while driving a Porsche Panamera in Windsor Road, Slough.

He was tested, and his alcohol level was found to be 48 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath - above the legal drink-drive limit.

Magistrates found Sangha guilty, and disqualified him from driving for three years.

In addition, he was handed a £180 fine.

He has also been ordered to pay £770 in court costs, as well as a £72 victim surcharge.
