POLICE have released an e-fit image of a man wanted in connection with a robbery in Slough.
The victim, a 66-year-old man, was walking through an alleyway from Long Furlong Drive to Chilwick Road when he was approached by a man who asked him for a cigarette at around 8pm on Monday, July 25.
The victim was then assaulted and suffered facial injuries and a cracked rib. The robber searched the victim’s pockets but did not take anything.
The victim was taken to Wexham Park Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries. He has since been discharged.
The offender is a white man, about 5ft 7ins tall, aged in his early to mid-twenties, and had a slightly unshaven face.
He was wearing a black top and a black baseball cap.
PC Ryan Elliott of Local Area CID in Slough said: “If you recognise this man, or if you were in the area at the time of the incident and saw anything you think was suspicious, please get in contact via the 24-hour non-emergency number 101.”
