CCTV images have been released in connection with the theft of £1,100.

Thames Valley Police has issued CCTV pictures of two people it would like to speak to in connection with a theft in Slough.

A woman in her seventies went into Barclays Bank in Queensmere Shopping Centre in Slough town centre at around 11.40am on November 27, 2015.

She used the cashpoint inside the bank and input her pin number. She was then distracted by a man and woman who spoke to her saying that there was something wrong with the machine.

When she looked back her card had disappeared.

Minutes later her card was used to withdraw £1,100 from her account using the stolen card.

Investigating officer PC Vicky Bliss from Slough Police Station said: “We would be very keen to speak to the two people pictured in the CCTV as they may have information which could help with our enquiries.

“If anyone recognises them or knows their whereabouts we could urge them to contact us as a matter of urgency on the number 101.”

If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
