Since 1799, Tudors on Eton High Street has been a local hotspot, beloved by locals, tourists and most notably the boys of Eton College. Renowned for its confectionery, sandwiches, and ice cream, it's the vast selection of milkshakes that steal the show, making Tudors a must-visit.

Owner Trilok Chail, at the helm since 1997, has propelled the family-run business to new heights, drawing in a steady stream of Eton boys week after week. For Mandeep and Sheena, Trilok's children, the joy lies in seeing ‘all the customers who enter, so happy’ and ‘interacting with the wide range of visitors’, especially the Eton boys, many of whom return as Old Etonians to reconnect with the shop and its welcoming atmosphere. For them, it is these connections which make the hard work worth it.

Despite its strong local ties, Tudors’ appeal is widespread, attracting people from near and far, including tourists drawn to Eton College and Windsor Castle. From the USA to Australia, Tudor's diverse clientele keeps the shop bustling with activity even during the school holidays when Eton College is closed.

Notably, Tudors has welcomed its fair share of celebrities, from former Welsh footballer Gareth Bale to actor Hugh Laurie, and even Prince Harry during his school days. Sheena fondly recalls Prince William's visits as a teenager, where he would indulge in his favourite turkey, lettuce, and mayo sandwich, always leaving with a smile.

With its modern interior, warm ambiance, and delectable offerings, Tudors is sure to remain the go-to spot for satisfying cravings for years to come.
